Where did the OP restrict who could comment? What is wrong with commenting on comments?

Anyway, I tend to agree that the composition is not compelling, so even reducing it to B&W to focus on the key visual elements doesn't help greatly, in my opinion (which is subjective). If there had been more empty road lanes visible (obviously not actually possible in this location) and, possibly, some single interest object (a person, perhaps, maybe on a bicycle), plus fully exclude the horizon etc to allow visual focus on the road & angles, maybe it would have been better?

Only by trying things out can one learn which works best, in the eyes of the beholder. It is always gratifying if others like one's photos, but unless working commercially or for others, the only one whose opinion really counts is the photographer themselves. In this case the OP opined that he was not really happy with his photo.
