Nikon lens rebates expiring this weekend. I caved and bought the 85F1.8g

I have to say, one reason I've stayed with the 85F1.8AF as long as I have it for silly sentimental reasons.  My dad disappeared years ago (plane crash in Alaska), and I traded his old Nikon rangefinder for a used 85F1.8.   It's kind of an indirect link to him, though I've certainly got more use out of the lens than I ever would have out of that camera.

I do think the lens was better on film than digital.
