I've been to many Christmas parties, where friends smoke in my presence, and San Miguel beer flows like the Amazon, and I was able to resist. Four more years of this, and I can get a 70-200 2.8 IS II for free (from the cigarette money saved).

I have no idea of who you are or what you represent in life, but I can tell you this, I am proud of you.

I lost my Mother to smoking 20 years ago and I miss her greatly.  She was told by her Doctor for several years that she needed to quit, and she didn't.  She died at 63 years of age.

I have never smoked, drank, or taken illegal drugs, and I am proud to say that.  So, good for you for finally realizing that smoking is not only unhealthy, but potentially damaging to others around you as well.

Keep it up, and best of luck to you.
