Did you have to keep the shutterbutton pressed for the duration of the exposure? I think the max shutter fir my 5n and 7 is 30 secs. Bulb requires keeping the shutter button pressed.

Thanks:) Nope , i use a remote and bulb for exposures over 30 seconds and the stop watch on my iphone.. Here is a link for the remote :

Thanks for the link. How does it work for bulb? Press once to open shutter, then press a second time to close?

Do you know if it works for nex bracket mode, too?

it works as you said but no bracketing, that is too hard for the sony guys to figure out how to do it seems:) They are not exactly geniouses...
