Moderators role

I have been wondering where you have been. During the bad old days (or with hindsight were they actually the good old days), people often pleaded for some moderation to deal with over the top bullying, that was all that was asked for. Unfortunately the mods have become much more concerned with content because the bullying dried up the instant they started moderation. This is a great pity because there never was a problem with forum content, other than the bullying.

Its probably a case of unintended consequences and being careful what one wishes for in life:-)

Anyway, enough fretting over what might have been, I hope that you and yours are well and happy and that Ratty junior is doing well. Mine are all grown up and well past any last vestiges of cuteness.

I am freaking out trying to decide on my next camera but it will probably be either be the XPro2 or the D7100. I am leaning towards the Nikon because I want a one lens solution for when I am on the move and understandably Fuji dont do a  superzoom type of lens. Though the Sigma Merrill looks awesome as well, rumour is that they will release a zoom compact this year, that would be very very tempting to me. From a landscape perspective the Sigma appears to be the holy grail with its beautiful textured look.

In the meantime the old F300 is nailing shot after shot for me. Its been my most fun Fuji to date, all things considered.
