Everyone has to choose based on using the cameras.  I had my only Canon lens (at the time) on my 6D the first day I had it, a 50mm f/1.4.  I was changing menu settings and shooting into a dark corner of the room.  The camera was set to keep the shutter speed over 1/60 and could select any ISO in the unexpanded range.  I had just backed off the default high ISO noise reduction setting by one step, I think I saw to do that suggested here btw, and didn't have the aperture stopped down much maybe f/4 or f/5.6.  Took a shot into the dark corner and looked at the histogram.  It was a crystal clear shot that looked like ISO 100 with the morning sun at your back.  The ISO was set by the camera to 12800 shutter 1/60.  I said we're done, this camera is a keeper!  I've since learned to appreciate the quiet shutter which make the camera seem like a quality device.
