You're reading between too many lines. No mention of the Nikon sensor being available to Sony. Just a comment about capping mp at 24 instead of going to 36, obviously referencing 36 since it's the top mp available now.

Also on the XQD, they acknowledged the speed of the card, just didn't like the power usage.

I'm not saying you're not right, but you need to read closer what you're basing your logic on.
