The Internet is Killing Brick & Mortar Stores

It is more that with digital cameras there is much less need for the expertise of the salesperson in the camera store and with the point and shoot cameras the majority are bought at Costco, Best Buy, Wal-Mart and other brick and mortar big box chain stores. Wal-Mart in particular has put many mom and pop independent businesses out of business and then hires their former employees and pays them half as much and does not provide health insurance. Wal-Mart does do an excellent job of advising its new hires where to apply for government assistance as the majority of them qualify based on the less than minimum wage pay they get.
