Nikon 50 mm f1.8 wide open....

I have a D600 and a 24-120 f4.0 and I have been thinking in purchasing a Nikkor 50mm f1.8G.

Since the camera does not go all the way until 1/8000, I was wondering if I could shoot wide open in a bright day with this lens if I set my camera to iso 50....

In other words, I would like to know if  a neutral density filter would be the way to go for shooting under these circumstances.
