I have today ordered a DP2M, having had a DP1 since they first appeared (and which I still use). So this is good to know.

The consensus is "yes," you can see the differences even in small prints. There will be some who will step in and argue that this is not their opinion. I expect we will soon be hearing from David Millier who has a dissenting opinion, but then he doesn't have one of the Merrill cameras so is essentially basing his opinions on the Sigmas which he does have.

The same differences apparent on screen such as demonstrated by Vieri Bottazzini here are seen in print as well. The micro-contrast and natural sharpness of the Foveon are well portrayed in print even at modest sizes:
