I'm Very happy with my Canon T4i. it's better for so many reasons that matter most. thats a new t4i with a faster processor , touch screen and live view mode. very good focus systems too
I recommend a canon 18-135, I got the 40mm instead of 50mm for the 1.6x sensor for a prime lens. both those lenses are stm an advantage for video. I also have a bigger zoom and a tokina uwa. Got an old flash and a set of lee filter samples that fit it (5$, one of them fixes a tungsten daylight mix) I have some other things that are my prefferences: cameron variable ND ,another rebel series body as I don't ever want to change lenses ( why I got the 18-135 and its sharp, clean) and some remote controls etc
Under 2000$cdn for whats listed here
My next buy will likely be a 100mm macro canon lense
