LR 4.4 RC and a dumb question

Just downloaded and installed the Lightroom and ACR updates. Looking to party here.

Question, and forgive the momentary brain lapse: I have a few hundred photos in my LR library that were installed into that library with LR 4.3. Now I have the 4.4 RC. Are these photos instantly updated to the new processing algorithms in 4.4, or do I need to do something first?

In my thinking I should delete the LR library and re import from the folder(s) the raw files are stored in. But, maybe not...
