Silky Pix upgrade

As a new user to Silky Pix that came with my X100 - I am wondering what I would gain by upgrading to one of the more professional RAW converters. I am able to alter the main parameters, exposure comp, white balance, a bit of sharpening etc. My work flow is very small, the out of camera JPEG's are just so good, I'm only adjusting those that go wrong.
Or am I missing something?
