Very true...so what does Ansel say the dynamic range of a print is?

the score comes before the performance so I suspect he would gather as much DR as possible before building a performance from it.  I doubt he would be concerned with the actual number the final print came out to be but more concerned with how well it represented his score. After all, he never seemed a fan of limiting the DR of his negatives to the range in a print medium.
