K-01 Celebration

Great idea for a thread.  The K-01 was vastly misunderestimated.  First people hated the yellow, then the floppy card door was criticized, then the placement of the green button, blah blah blah.  I give Pentax credit for taking the design risk, which in my hands feels very comfortable and is very useable.  I hold this particular mirrorless "brick" with a nice full grip, not pinched between index finger and thumb like the smaller milc's that people apparently think was called for.  It's built like a tank and its image-making capability is fantastic.  Great shots by John Flores and other have appeared in these pages.  I'm glad I bought one early, no regrets.  Thanks, Pentax, for continuing your long tradition of being different -- by design.
