Should I return my D7000 for a D7100?

I just recieved my new Nikon D7000 today.  Of course the day after I ordered it from B-H Nikon announced the upcoming release of the D7100.  Now i am faced with the dilemma, should i return my D7000 body, which i purchased Nikon Factory Refurbished for $750, fork over an extra $446 and wait another month for a D7100, or should i just keep my money and my D7000 and be not look back?  This is my first DSLR since my D80 pooped the bed a couple years ago.  I am not really invested in Nikon glass either as i only have an 18-105 kit lens.  Or do i really even need the D7000, i could just go for a D5200 or a Canon T4i for the better lcd, video and smaller size to fit in my backpack while biking/skiing.  I will mostly use this camera for landscapes and sports photography.  On the other hand, i feel like after having a D80, going to a more compact and  cheaper build quality will feel cheezy to me...  decisions decisons...
