D7100 1.3x crop in sensor vs Crop in Software?

With the 1.3x crop the RAW file will be much smaller, smaller than present D7000's RAW files.

Speed for continuous shooting and number of images to fill buffer are also improved, not by much though.

It's for people using tele lenses, mostly, and shooting action.
