I agree very much with what you say and your results are impressive!

The only thing I think you perhaps conclude to early is the verdict of D7100.

If the low light performance  and AF with slow lens/TC are very much improved it will be a very interesting option for many with low budget. For me this is more important then buffer size.

And the camera can be just as robust without all the weight by using new materials?

And we don't know how the buffer and write speed ads up at the moment? The buffer size is 12 with 1.3 crop and 12 bit lossless...

I'm not saying you are wrong but lets see when we have the first test of the new camera
