Actually these look great to me.
I'm not seeing "an incredible amount of noise", certainly not at ISO 250 and not even in the ISO 800 and ISO 1250 files. In fact, DSCF1183.RAF (shot at ISO 800) and DSCF1182.RAF look very good, more than usable.
These image files look miles ahead of the JPEGs in your Flickr gallery.
My impression is they look as good or better than what I'm getting from my Nikon V1 RAW and now it's clear to me that the X20 will serve my needs quite well.

Similarly, would appreciate if you could post some of the converted files once you managed to get it sorted out.
If the RAW look much better than the JPEG files, it wouldn't be too worthwhile to shoot the X20 in JPEG would it? Good for those who work with RAW all the time though.
