Thanks for sharing, beautiful pictures! Do you use filters, and if so which?

None no filters at all...I did order three 10-18 and shot them all side X side on my Nex-7...chose the best one and sent the other two back...this was after most of these shots though so some of them have the magenta cast o the right hand side...

Mr Ichiro Kitao, I support the call to upgrade the FZ50.
I will not only buy one but two no questions asked...

Oh good lord, here we go again. Yes, this thread could devolve into an off-topic fight, but I just can't believe how often I find such anti-fellow-customer behavior at these forums (met with a cheering section from other users who have those same stinky values). It's NOT COOL to buy three brand-new boxes of the same thing, and return two of them after breaking brand-new status causing used resale, merely working off some theoretical (read: fictitious) assessment of manufacturing variables between identical products. You yourself are just that burden on the marketplace, who raises overall prices, and who makes it harder for us (who are ethical) to LEGITIMATELY return flawed products. Retailers hate this behavior.

Seriously, stop it folks. I'm not even remotely in the retail business, just tired of high prices caused by the aberrant behavior of you bad apples in the barrel.

After I paid for a $1000 Nex-7 and then patiently wait on a WIDE lens and a $850 10-18 comes along made by Sony that is decentered causing magenta cast?...lol...you do what you want, Sony should have made the lens correctly to start, if the lens was $200 I could see the poor quality (16mm f/2.8), BUT $850 decentered and casting magenta on the right hand side of the photo?

If something is faulty and doesn't work fit for purpose and/or as designed, your saying to keep it?...lol...that don't make no sense to me...

So you are telling me that you go into a store and buy a Bread Toaster and you get it home and only one side works that you are going to keep it?

Remind me to never hire you as a QAQC Rep...

I think you would be better off emailing Sony and ask them why does the 70% of the E Mount f/4 10-18's cause Magenta cast on the right hand side of the photos from nex-7...

Wow. Frightening. You actually feel justified.

The issue is that you bought all three at once, because you think your time is so precious that it deserves causing hundreds of dollars in lost profits, on a mere whim of yours: that three's the right number for rolling the dice.

So yeah, if the lens is flawed ("decentered and casting magenta on the right," which I'll take at face value even though it might be your old eyes), I totally support anyone's right of return with a full refund. That's totally different than you gaming the system, selfishly and self-importantly, by buying three at once, premeditating a return of two.

So again, there's only one thing to say: stop it.

Never had to do it with Panasonic or Olympus or Canon...Duh that boils down to one thing...Sony poor QAQC, and did you see any warnings from Sony?...

Go buy your toaster with one slot working and enjoy I will return mine until I get a properly designed, properly working unit...
