Trip to NYC - kit advice please

Hi all

I'm off to NYC for 4 days at the end of March and am trying to decide what kit to take with me.

My current set up is:

A35

18-55 kit lens

Tamron 75-300 DI LD macro (I know but it was super cheap!)

Sony 35mm F1.8

I am planning on selling the Tamron and getting either the new Sony 55-300 but am wondering how much use I'd get out of this on a trip to NYC - would I be better off keeping the cheapy Tamron and maybe looking at an 18-270 Tamron or maybe the Sony 18-135 and ditching the kit lens. My budget wont run to a 70-300G so that's out of the question.

Having not been to NYC before it would be good to get some advice from some of you as to what lens would would get the most use in this type of city environment.
