First Real Attempt at Portrait

This is one of the better ones of what I'm calling a practice shoot with friends today.  It's my first real attempt at a portrait.  Only had about 30 minutes of decent lighting before sunset.

I know I have a Lot of work to do, but any comments on obvious things would be appreciated.
