The beauty of X-Trans

I have given in and shelled out for an X-E1, deciding to put off my plans to get the newer versions because who knows how long they will take.
I am impressed. Very impressed. My daughter has a new Sony nex7 and initial thoughts are we both agree the colors from the Fuji with its X-Trans sensor are just that much better than the Sony.
Here is one of my first, just playing with the camera to get a feel of it and haven't even looked at or adjusted the settings yet - although I did swing it in to full manual for this one:

It is a nice feeling camera and so far have not found anything I don't like (early days though) except I think they could have put more thought in to the pop up flash mechanism. Its design and how it flips up could have easily incorporated a holding clip to keep it pointing upwards for bounce flash.
Now I suppose I should start to read through the manual but could not help myself, I had to shoot some odd things first.
I am really liking this.
Thank you
