Purchasing first camera - Questions about older lenses
4 months ago

So I'm in the market for a DSLR and have it narrowed down to the usual crop of cameras that most beginners seem to get (D3100, D90, D5100, K-30, K-r). I'm planning on using the camera for quite awhile and don't plan on ever going all out to a full-frame. I'd mostly be shooting landscape/wildlife photos and am planning on traveling abroad in a year or so and would like to be able to take some street photography as well.
My confusion lies in the fact that I have access to some of my dad's old lenses and am not sure if it's worth taking them into account in my camera purchase since I am unaware of their compatibility with current cameras or their quality.
The lenses in question are:
Nikon AF 30-105 f 3.5-4.5
Tokina ATX 80-200 zoom
Sigma 18-35 Wide Angle Zoom
Assuming any are compatible, would it be worth it to buy body only for now until I get the hang of it and upgrade from there?
Thanks
