I have been using my ColorChecker Passport with my LR4 without any problems. I always take one shot if it at the beginning of each photo shoot.
It just takes a few minutes to generate a profile for your camera under different lighting conditions.
The thing I notice most is my blues are a more brilliant blue when using the ColorChecker Passport. This may be just with my camera, but this is what I have noticed. The other colors shift slightly, but blue shifts more than the others as compared to the Adobe standard profile.
