Do any of you use and find an ipad very useful for photos? Does it have a place in photography workflow?
Hi Mark,
I don't use the iPad for photo processing very much. I do have the Snapseed app, which appears to be able to easily make adjustments that I haven't tried with Photoshop Elements. What I do use the iPad for regarding photos is with astrophototgraphy. The app SKySafari helps identify some of the objects that I've photographed. It helps with identifying what is in the field of view captured by the camera: identifying the names of Jupiter's moons, what is the name and specifics regarding that nebula or star cluster captured in an image. It also is very useful in predicting future events worthy of photographing such as eclipses of the Sun or Moon, transits of Venus or Mercury, conjunctions of the Moon and planets as well as upcoming bright comets. Several members of the AstrophotographyTalk forum have imaged conjunctions (close approach) on the Moon and Jupiter. For all this SkySafari is most useful. Check out the Astrophotography Talk forum.
