If you shoot a lot in low light with high iso (> 1600) and large apertures I might recommend 5D3 or 6D instead. Better noise and DR with high ISO and also Canon's AF system is more accurate IMHO. D800 also exhibits banding noise in dark areas at high ISO.

For low ISO D800 has the best IQ. Images will have lot of detail if done right.
