Agreed. I I was the buyer, I would want to know the history of the camera. Why not state that this is a second shutter, and the first one went up to 269000?
Honesty is the best procedure and brings in the best business.
I am in the market for a 1DII or a 1DIII, and I want to know exactly what has happened to the camera I will buy.

Good point, I would include a copy of the paperwork with the shutter repair though and it said it was reset to zero. The buyer could think it had over 500K on it.
