Would you buy your D800/800E again?

Absolutely! My first Nikon too!

The scene at my dealer when I got there an hour after getting the call that the first batch of D800s to be released here had arrived. We had put down deposits before the price was released here - when it finally came in at less than the 5D3, Christmas came early!

My first shot was with the 14-24, f/8, tripod around an hour after the shot above. Honestly, couldn't/didn't believe the specs till I opened the file for myself.

A year and many thousands of shots later, couldn't be happier
