How many of you OM-D E-M5 users are using the HLD-6 grip/battery holder?

I have only had the OM-D for some weeks. It came as a kit with the whole battery grip. I use the grip part 100% but have so far not even tried the battery part. So much better ergonomics. Not use if I could even use the camera properly with my bigger paws with no additional grip. My only problem with the grip is that one needs to take it off to change battery and in cold weather the batteries drain very fast. :/
