Well, as for myself I am a commercial photographer and cameras need to meet certain specs for certain tasks, the A78 I hope will be better in the noise department for video. If it doesn´t deliver (which I don´t expect), it´s bye bye Sony SLT altogether and only NEX for me. I really hope, they will get 24 Mpix right before adding more Mpix. My main body for stills is the D800 at 36 Mpix and that produces outstanding images at ISO 6400.
I wonder why you bought the A77 then? It seems like the pros and cons were well documented early on.
