45mm 1.8 + OMD EM5 Fantastic results Locked

These shots are not sharp at all.  Did you use the 14x focus box?  If you did and could not get sharp shots, suggest you make some test to check whether there is any problem such as misalignment of the lens.  The -1 sharpening does not affect the sharpness that much.  I had similar problem when I first got my 45mm f1.8.  I just could not get enough sharpness as it should be.  After 1 week test, I return it and got a replacement which was much much better.  The 45mm f1.8 is a capable sharp lens and should nail on the subject.  There are some defective copies found in the market and you need to check it carefully.  Good luck and enjoy your lens.
