So i should have the shutter higher? I was using AP mode.
To set a faster shutter speed you'll need to either increase the iso or decrease the f stop. Changing the later will affect the composition some what add you'll have a shallower depth of field. Not necessarily a bad thing, I found the background more of a distraction than a benefit in some of the pictures.
Check your histograms for how well exposed the images are.
Just to add in a different perspective, my girlfriend has worked on the other side of the lens to me, she says from a models point of view, the number of shots from beneath her eye line really emphasises her..... Nostrils! For a models perspective this can make you very self conscious, but she would have been happy with the shoot
