Why should I choose 5D mk II and not Nikon D600?

The zoom is smooth and steady. You can set the camera's external ring to various things like aperture or expsoure compensation and can adjust them on the fly.

The sound is stereo and high quality.

Its 20mp and small, light and unobtrusive and fits in your pocket when you have finished with it.

I have D800E and I reach for the Sony RX100 when I want to take a video.

It has 60p rate as well.

The other camera best for video I would think is Sony A99. Watch the youtube reviews of it and its video. Its way better than both Nikon and Canon in my opinion.
