Sony A230 or A33 using adapted lenses?

Hey guys, on my Sony A99 I can use adapted manual lenses by evoking the shoot without lens option....is this optionavailable on the lower spec Sony A230 or A33 models?

Ive acquired an A230 and don't see an option and figure as an older model this might not be possible, can anyone confirm my suspicions? Does the same hold true for the A33?
