Proofing Using PDF format

I've been looking for a solution to protect my electronic proofs from being used unauthorized, but the jpg format is not secure. Even though I watermark the images, in some cases, some part of the image can still be used. Recently, I read that if I used the PDF format, I can employee all the security features that the PDF format offers. However, I'm having a problem finding a software program that can take a batch or folder of images, compress and resize them, and apply any security features I want.

Is there any software programs that can do this? Any help would be be great appreciated.
