For arcitectural shots, keep in mind that the Lumix X 12-35mm f/2.8 is not completely rectilinear, even after the in-camera geometric distortion correction. At 12mm it features barrel distortion, and at 35mm pincushion distortion.  See examples of this distortion in this review:

In this respect, it could be that the basic kit zoom lens, Lumix G 14-42mm f/3.5-5.5 is better.

But apart from that, the Lumix X 12-35mm f/2.8 is a truly fantastic lens.
