6D battery is dying even with the camera in the off position

What can Tamron do about it? It is clearly Canon logic problem. When the camera is switched off, there should be no power to the lens whatsoever (except for the internal BIOS and clock which run on internal battery).

Perhaps you can try to turn the IS (or whatever they call it ) switch off.
