Which 50 do you like on FX and why?

No problem, I didn't really address veiling glare in my post, just sharpness.  The G probably has better coatings, so it handles veiling glare better, I'd guess.

If I had neither other today, I'd buy the G, but it's hard for me to justify the upgrade from the D I already have, because it's so sharp and focuses so quickly.  I use a hood so glare/contrast isn't usually a problem for me.
