Auto  anything can be a NO NO, especially people who have no knowledge of how the exposure meter works, knowing how light subjects can cause underexposure,dark subjects can cause overexposure,whats average ,lots of things fall in the average bracket, even green grass , lots of trees, even a good mix black & white can be  average,even blue skies can be used,the old F16  rule 100iso  @F16  = 1/100 sh/speed. I dont do critical work ,I am retired now and like to enjoy my photography and photoshopping,    cheers.
