Lightroom - image modify date

Thought you all on this forum may know this.  I have been looking for a way to have the date I have modified an image show in grid and loupe view.  I can't find it in the options.  All that's there is created date.  Since I create many versions of one image over time, seeing the dates they were modified would be helpful to me.  Any recommendations how I do it or am I missing it?
