HELP - an Exploding Head

I have been enjoying this forum for several months now and am amazed to see what can be done with photos beyond salvaging. I have very limited skills with Elements 9.

So I want to see if you can salvage this shot.

I took this photo at my daughter's wedding. I forgot that my camera tends to mangle people portraits taken at wide angle. So here is my son-in-law whose head seems about to explode. Can anyone give him a "head un-lift"?
