Thinking of buying Panasonic GX1, which kit lens?

I'm a novice stepping up from point-and-shoot. With the current price of the GX1, figured now would be a good time as any to step up. Noticed that there are 2 different kit lenses available: 14-42mm and a 14-42mm power zoom. Wondering which to get? Does the 14-42mm power zoom justify the $150 increase in price? Thanks.
