I thought you were comparing the D7000 to the D7100. Those are probably fairly close to "everything else being equal". I'd rather have the dense 7100 than the less dense 7000.

D7100 vs D800 includes so many fundamental differences, I dont understand why you would care about comparing them.

I didn't, that's my whole point. My comment was in reply to a poster that said "Resolution king!! Higher pixel density than D800 with no low pass!"
