S100 Firmware update

Received an e-mail from Canon for a firmware update for the S100....at this late date.

I'm not sure what it's supposed to "fix" but or course I want to install it. When I go to Canon's website, after clicking on the link provided in the e-mail, it tells me it can't find the site. Maybe it's not up yet?  Oh well!

Does this firmware have anything to do with the "Lens Error" problem. My S100 is one of the affected cameras, but so far hasn't failed.
