LX7 vs FZ200 for macro shots, is the FZ200 (FZ150) really better and easier to use?

I have an LX7 and an FZ150, and while I understand they are totally differsent cameras, I am amazed how well the FZ150 (and the FZ200) take macro like photographs.

This link below, which I recently viewed, again demonstrated how well the Pana zoom cameras shoot closeups, without even having to be very close to the subject!  Does the LX7 equal or exceed that capability?  If so, I sure can't seem to get the consistent and quality closeup photos with my LX7 that I can get with my FZ150.  And the brighter LX7 lens is a non issue for the vast majority of closeup photography in my experience, and would even be less of an issue with the FZ200, of course.
