Cameras with no AA filter will inherently have more detail in their images.

This is not true. Camaeras with no AA filter may give the ´╗┐appearance´╗┐ of more detail, but in fact what you see is artefacting, not detail. With a bit of luck, the artefacts might make a convincing representation of detail, but it still isn't detail.

Then let's call it better micro-contrast or better pixel-level sharpness instead. Isn't that a good thing? In DPR's comparison tool we can compare for example D800 vs. D800e or K-5 II vs. K-5 IIs. I don't see a lot of artifacts in the D800e and K-5 IIs images, just a better pixel-level sharpness.

P.S. - Took a closer look, and actually I did find some moire patterns (or "false detail") in the K-5 IIs image (hint: blue feather). The D7100 has higher pixel density though, which I suppose will make it an even more rare problem.
