I personally think that there is very little difference in the metering systems used by different DSLRs.  Most will give the "correct" exposure most of the time.

However, sometimes the metering system will get it wrong or not give the exposure that the photographer wants.  That is why DSLRs have Exposure Compensation and M mode but it takes experience to know what type of metering to use and when you need to adjust it.

The correct but not very useful answer to your questions is therefore "the one being used by the best photographer".
