Agreed..... but posts here and on other forums have implied that Aperture does not do ANY distortion correction... which is patently untrue.. Aperture has the tools to do lens correction for some lenses, and offers no control beyond that information that is written in the RAW file by the lens manufacturer.
I understand that some people require (for reasons beyond my comprehension) more control... and as you say there are other solutions
All I am trying to do is stop a falsehood being spread
Aperture does do lens correction... it understands the concept and acts on it. Why it doesn't do it for NEX is curious and surprising to me
