Lens adapters?

I got a cheap Chinese adapter off ebay for my Nikon lenses. Its a bit flimsy in that it has a thin bolt for the aperture control. It bends very easily when overcoming the slightly stiff resistance to installing the lens. It then won't open the lens to full aperture until you bend it back.

Novoflex is no doubt great. I have a Novoflex Nikon lens to Canon EOS adapter and it is super well built but expensive.
